Blessings and gratitude to Pastor Art Jackson and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens Family for a beautiful day of worship and honor of education in District 1.
In addition to my giving an update on the success in District 1, Pastor Jackson recognized the leadership of the Carol City Middle School and Barbara Hawkins for outstanding academic growth. These schools were adopted by Antioch through District 1’s Faith Based Adopt-a-School Initiative.
Barbara Hawkins increased from a C to an A.
Carol City Middle School rose from an F to a C.
Pastor Jackson blessed each school with a check for $1,000.00.
The morning culminated with a powerful word from God in which many gave their lives to God.
