Great visit to Norland Middle School to personally express my congratulations to Ms. Cidel and her students for not only their award wining performance in the Golden Globe Winning film ‘Moonlight’ but to also show my support for the Arts in our schools.
Kudos to the teachers of the Arts promote increased opportunities for students in our district to pursue their dreams, passions, and life’s work through diverse educational pathways afforded through the Arts Education.
I am pleased to present Board Item B-7 at the January 25, 2017 School Board Meeting to honor and recognize them for this outstanding accomplishment as well as promote the Arts in education.
